Gentlemen,

I have the honour to request that you

will be kind enough to allow me to draw a sum of

twenty pounds in advance of my pension and to repay

the same during a period of say six months or as

you may decide.

My reason for requiring this advance is that I

have a son qualifying as a dentist at Guy's and who will

be up for his final next month.

The bringing him to this point has been a

severe strain on my resources and I am unable to meet

the necessary fees.
